Antonia & Juan Bongog were the parents of Ireneo Bongog, our grandfather. They lived in Sagunto, Sison, Pangasinan and had three children: Ricardo, Ireneo, and Juana. Everyone called them Ba-e and Lak-e which stands for great-grandmother and great-grandfather.
In this photo, they are with their grandchildren and their first great-granddaughter, me. Between them, is Uncle Boy, Auntie Vita, and in front of Lak-e with his head down, Uncle Mando.

Jmom, you are lucky you still have pictures of your great grandparents. I don't have any...nothing. You know I have cousins in San Fabian, Pangasinan, on my father's side? They are a family of 12 or 13 (I lost count) children. Most of them are still there.
That's a very precious photo of your great grandparents.
Jmom, I am not fond of antiques, but great old photos are exception. I love old photos. I don't have photos of great grandparents. Like Mari said, "You're lucky to have one."
Hi mari and ebb tide, thank you. I do feel lucky that my mom and lola are such pack rats. lol!! It is due to them that we still have photos like these.
